Heat exchanger replacement on a commercial boiler
A new copper finned-tube heat exchanger lifted in by crane and installed in a commercial gas-fired boiler.
Rather than replacing the whole boiler, its heat exchanger was replaced. The new copper finned-tube section was delivered, lifted up to the building by boom truck, and installed in the existing gas-fired boiler.
- Lifted the new heat exchanger up to the building by boom-truck crane.
- Opened the boiler and removed the old heat exchanger.
- Installed the new copper finned-tube heat exchanger in the existing boiler.
